We have set ourselves ambitious and concrete objectives for sustainability and the progress is be monitored as part of the Sustainability Programme. Sustainability at Terrafame broadly covers the areas of environment, social responsibility and good governance. We are also committed to a number of global accountability initiatives and commitments.
UN Sustainable Development Goals
The themes of our Sustainability Programme 2020-2024 are linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals as far as applicable. You can read more about the sustainability programme in our annual Sustainability Review.
Global Compact iniative
In addition to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the themes of our Sustainability Programme are linked to the UN Global Compact, which we joined in October 2020. This commitment guides us to even more holistic accountability development and provides practical tools and good practices to use in this work.
